Hidden gem

A perfect place to stay with the family. Extremely helpfull staff all speaking perfect English. Large variety during breakfast with plenty fresh fruit and bakeries. A must visit is also the restaurant which houses next to the 'hotel'. The venue is extremely suitable for kids with plenty of space to play some football, a playgarden and obviously the pool. The staff is always willing to go for the extra mile and serve you with plenty of tips. Just simply ask and they will go beyond. Furthermore a small mistake was made during the quote phase. Without any discussions we were offered the number of days against the price initially quoted 'it was their mistake and they were happy to provide us with the offer initially made although the price was too less'. How about hospitality. This hidden gem is highly recommended and is on our fav. list for our next visit.

The Torre Marabino is an Agriturismo and hence is a bit remote from a town. The location is very nice with lovely gardens and a swimming pool and most importantly includes a really good restaurant. Each morning a delightful breakfast was provided with freshly cooked cakes, tarts and pastries together with fresh fruit yoghurt and fruit juices - delightful. The restaurant served a good selection of different courses each day with good local wines available and we ate there every evening.

The staff are really nice and provide a excellent service - including letting me speak to them in faltering Italian!

Our room was on the ground floor and included a mezzanine floor where the bed was located leaving the lower level for the bathroom and sitting area and small kitchen. Everything was clean and well presented and the bed was very comfortable.

This is a lovely place to stay if you want to visit south east Sicily

Worth finding

This hotel is in an ideal location for exploring south east Sicily or for relaxing by the large pool. Our room was very large and comfortably furnished with a good sized shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady who produced the wonderful breakfasts. There was a fairly limited choice of dishes for dinner but they were high quality and well presented.

Fourth time lucky!

This was our fourth consecutive year at this wonderful place. Why do we keep coming back? Because we love staying there. What was special this time... Well we had an outstanding four course fish dinner. It began with a quails egg, then starters were oysters with lemon sorbet, followed by wonderful fish risotto, and to cap it all a very generous helping of beautifully cooked sea bass and a lovely wine. Certainly the most exquisite combination of dishes in our three week holiday. Good food creates a positive buzz around the tables and everyone there was getting on well and having a lovely time, many I think had been there before. We can't recommend it enough. We are going next year and are already talking about it...

Oasis of food and luxury accomodation in the desert of extreme southern Sicily

Magic hotel accomodation, with a pool and quite superb and helpful staff, in the middle of a wine farm. Food superb, and best breakfast ever had with local produce available etc. Some rooms have small kitchen facilities so can eat out for lunch and snack in room in evening. Also small play park for children.
Many nearby lido type beaches, within easy drive (car essential for everything) and in Baroque Triangle with numerous places to visit (Oddly nearest town, Ispica, not brill) with architectural gems.

A beautiful conversion of an old Saracen watch tower, set in an organic farm and vineyard, Torre Marabino is a lovely, relaxing place to stay. Our room was a good size, with a small kitchenette, and the grounds and pool are gorgeous. The food is good and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

We stayed here 4 years ago, and again this time for 3 nights. Since we were here last, the neglected greenhouses in the surrounding fields have all been renewed and the Marabino business is producing organic wines, olive oils and preserves. The hotel is still gorgeous, the pool area and gardens immaculately tended. breakfast is good and the dinners in the restaurant lovely. This is a great base for exploring the baroque towns of Scicli, Noto and Modica, with Ragusa a slightly longer drive. If you're a Montalbano fan, his fictional home in Punta Secca as about an hours drive away (although many more tourists than when we last visited). The beautiful Castello Donnafugata is also within easy reach. Apparently the new series of Montalbano has just been recorded, with some of the last episode filmed at the hotel; can't wait to see it!

Luigi excellent waiter and knowledgeable about wine. Dinners were very impressive. Buffet breakfast was lovely.

We stayed at this beautiful peaceful boutique hotel set in the beautiful countryside we stayed here for 5 nights, which definetly recharged our batteries. From the minute we arrived everyone was so helpful, the room was very spacious, with a good size bathroom. We ate at the restaurant most evenings, the food was a good standard, as were the breakfasts. Great beach 15 minutes away and a lovely pool to chill by too. We highly recommend this hotel

his is a little way out of Ispica. A small hotel with a restaurant (outside in the summer) with a lovely view over the valley down to the sea.
The menu is small but offers both meat and fish options and uses lots of local ingredients (many produced right there) and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful meal with great wine (recommended by the waiter). We would not only defiantly go back but would also consider staying there as the pool area was delightful and there is even a small play area for children tucked discretely away in the grounds.
