The excellent cooking at dinner and breakfast, preceded by a glass of chilled Sicilian Prosecco whilst looking out at the gardens in the moonlight in warm temperatures. very little light pollution; ideal for looking at the moon and stars. The serving staff most attentive. The chef creative and very accomplished.The radio at breakfast was , to our taste, intrusive. Silence, but for other guests’ conversations, would be preferable. The soundtrack at the start of dinner likewise too funky.

What a gem of a restaurant. Staying nearby and read some great reviews about this restaurant. Fabulous! We were even welcomed by the owner as we left our car in the car park and he showed us the 600 year old tree and talked about the history of the building. The food was fantastic and the staff were so helpful. I can't believe it's not full every night. We will be back before the end of our holiday!!
